I can't quite believe just how long I've been away. I have been busy but it's no excuse for not calling in to say hi.
I have really missed having a dog and still miss my sweet Nicholas very much.
My husband and I talked about the pro's and con's of getting another dog, I was in two minds about it but K said definately not!! In my heart I wanted a dog but also believed that I shouldn't search for one because the time would come that a dog would be in need of a home and it would be the right time.
Well that time presented itself last week when a friend of my daughter's wasn't able to keep her dog and to make a long story short we are now the proud and loving owners of Buster.
He's a five year old Maltalier which is a Maltese Terrier/Cavalier King Charles Spaniel cross.
He is the sweetest natured little boy, so affectionate and just loooves his tummy rubbed.
We have already been for a walk around the block so he can see where he will be living.
One of our cats, Harry is ok with him but Bella took one look and was under the bed. She has been looking around the door but not game yet to venture any further. Buster will live outside and the cats can only get out into two large cat runs so there shouldn't be any fighting.
Isn't he beautiful? I will keep you posted on how he settles in to his new home.
Blessings dear friends,
Vicki.
He is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAwww he is just adorable!! :) xxx
ReplyDeleteI hope you ,your family and friends are safe ...these fires a horrendous :(
ReplyDeleteHi Kez, thank-you for your kind thoughts, we are quite safe here as we live on the edge of the city, right in town but fires in the surrounding area have been awful. How are you going? no fires near you I hope, also any of your friends. Bush-fires spread so fast, everyone needs to keep a sharp look-out. Stay safe and have a good new year.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Vicki.
I am safe from the fires as are my family ,Im glad to hear all is ok with you.
ReplyDeleteHi Sweetie, it's been a horrible summer in Australia - too much rain in some places or else those dreadful fires! I'm so pleased that Buster has come to bring love into your lives. You won't ever forget Nicholas but just as our heart expands and finds even more love for each child, so it does with our pets. He is fortunate to have found such a wonderful new family to own and he looks a real darling. Hugs, Sandie
