CHRISTMAS TREASURES.

I thought you might like to see some more of my Christmas decorations. I bought this little break-away box a few weeks ago. It lights up and looks really sweet on the coffee table.  I would like to make a break-away box "one day".
I have several music boxes but this is my favourite. You can see just how tiny it is, the figures are so pretty and the music is Silent Night. The case is soft leather,  the music stops when the lid is closed.

I just love this Santa Claus and was lucky to find him in an op-shop ( thrift shop)  he's perfect and I felt lucky to be able to give him a loving home.
I found this printie on the net so cut it out and put it together.  It's so small but I love it.

I've had this plastic nativity set since my children were very small, they are now in their 40s. You don't have to pay a small fortune for decorations, this is very much loved and valued for the memories that come with it.

This is a photo of my Christmas village taken during the day to show you where it's laid out on the window seat in the bay widow in our living room. It's getting full but I will find room for more next year!

  1. Hi Sandi, Good to meet a fellow blogger. I love the music boxes at Christmas time. Looks like you have lots of lovely decorations. I'm still recovering from the market - only 4 days of school to go.

  4. Vicki, we share a love of the Christmas figures and houses. I don't have many yet and don't have a wonderful place to show them off like you do either, but I am still collecting them slowly each year. Christmas is a special time and it's great to collect something special each year. Hugs Sandie
